The Vision
Rooted in one of Toronto’s most storied neighbourhoods, 1 Marlborough is the careful reimagining of a historic site into a refined collection of private residences.
SCROLLA LOCAL LANDMARK,
respectfully reimagined.
Long before it was known as 1 Marlborough, this distinguished address stood as the Canadian showroom for Pierce–Arrow Motor Car Company, one of the most revered names of the golden age of American automobiles.

1930

The Pierce–Arrow marque was so prestigious, so consumed by craftsmanship, that they were driven by royalty, business magnates, and heads of state.

1953
In 1954, a new chapter began when the CBC acquired the building. The former luxury showroom became a television studio, filming some of the country’s most iconic programming, including Mr. Dressup, Front Page Challenge, The Wayne and Shuster Show, Juliette, and The Tommy Hunter Show.

1991

Gargoyles and ornamental detailing, designed by celebrated Canadian artist Merle Foster.
A QUIET EXPRESSION
of life at ease.
With just 58 residences across its 13 storeys,
1 Marlborough offers an intimate residential experience designed for those who value privacy, design sophistication, and enduring livability.
Developed by Devron in partnership with Dorsay, 1 Marlborough reflects a shared dedication to craftsmanship, architectural excellence, and respect for Rosedale’s legacy, creating a quiet expression of permanence in one of Toronto’s most established settings.
